Final entry list for 15-anniversary World Match Race Tour in Marstrand
All entrants are now ready for Match Cup Sweden in Marstrand, June 29-July 5. As previous years, the absolute world elite in match racing are coming to Sweden to race for the desirable trophy and points in the World Match Racing Tour. Match Cup Sweden, which celebrates 15 years this year, attracts over 100 000 sailing interested spectators to Marstrand. They will enjoy a record number of six Swedish skippers, four gentlemen and two ladies, compete against the world sailing elite for the noblest medals.

The wind is blowing forward for Match Cup Sweden, the event that celebrates 15-years anniversary 2009. Just weeks before the World Cup Sailings in Marstrand, June 29 to July 5, the sponsoring status looks very bright. New sponsors have been added and the earlier ones remains.

Swedish sailor Johnie Berntson continued his winning streak when he won
GKSS Spring Cup 2009, which was sailed in great and warm summer
conditions in Gothenburg. The victory awarded him with an invite to
Match Cup Sweden 2009.

An estimated 45 000 people have experienced the sights and sounds of Langenargen this week as the town played host to the second stage of the World Match Racing Tour. Match Race Germany ended today with Ben Ainslie (GBR) and Team Origin taking 1st place in a first to three points final against Damien Iehl (FRA) and his French Match Racing Team.
