DS 37 Match racer is regarded as the perfect boat for match racing. It is fast och mobile, hence a real challenge for it's crew. The DS 37 was designed for match racing back in 1991 by a Danish design team lead by Jacob Vierö.

The hull and deck is produced with a strong sandwich construction, where glass fiber is attached by hand. The keel is made of  galvanized steel, and also acts as the lifting point of the boat.

During Match Cup Sweden in Marstrand all umpires uses identical boats, specifically developed for Match Cup Sweden.

Zodiak delivers the tailor made boats for the umpire work. The long days at sea for the umpires have been taken into consideration when developing the seats. The boat, Zodiac Match Cup Edition, is equipped with a double jockey seat and steering console together with a Honda BF50 4-stroke engine. The umpires will have access to six Zodiac Match Cup Edition boats during the racing in Marstrand.
