The start was, once again, very even between the two sailors. Claire Leroy protested but the umpires decided in favour for Anna Kjellberg. Crossing the finish line, Anna Kjellberg had a small advantage. Through some great upwind sailing, Anna managed to widen the gap. She sailed very convincing when beating towards the wind but Claire Leroy seemed to catch up on the downwind legs. During the last downwind leg, Anna was ahead of Claire with four or five boat lengths. Anna managed to keep Claire behind her and won this race. Claire Leroy and Anna Kjellberg each need two more wins to secure the first position in this year’s Match Cup Sweden.

In the match for third and fourth position Linda Rahm equalized versus Jenny Axhede. The race was very even but Linda had a small advantage from the start. The next flight will decide who will get the third prize in this year’s Match Cup Sweden.
