Claire Leroy, the world's number 1, won  the newly established prize Marstrand Lysekil Women´s Double after second place in Lysekil Women's Match following her victory in Match Cup Sweden 2008. In Lysekil Leroy was beaten by Swedish home sailor Linda Rahm.

Marstrand Lysekil Women´s Double is awarded to the female sailing team having the best accumulated placing following Match Cup Sweden and Lysekil Women´s Match. The trophy, called “Sails”, is a beautiful piece of designed glass from Kosta Boda.
