In the Spithill versus Meldgaard Pedersen match both ladies had the lead, at first Meldgaard and then Spithill found the breeze and passed by her opponent to a solid victory.

Barkow made a terrible start and MacGregor could sail away to an easy victory.

In the last match it was all or nothing for both sailors Linda Rahm and Claire Leroy. The person who won would take the last place in the semi finals. Rahm got the best start and took off closely followed by Leroy. But all of a sudden Leroy had some trouble with her spinnaker and Rahm could extend the distance to the finish.
